Beauty Cast Network produced a Student Career Showcase and Tradeshow in Anaheim, CA on May 22nd attended by over 1,000 students and educators. There were five classrooms and the main stage featuring demonstrations and educational classes from a variety of beauty and barber professionals including Marco Pelusi, Sophie Pok, Dina Ousley, Miko Phan, Kevin Nguyen, Sonia Boghosian, Joaquim Regalado and many more. The educators also were able to attend two classes presented by Theresa Miulli, founder of The Intentional Classroom.
Representatives from Great Clips, Floyd’s 99 Barbershop, JCPenney and European Wax Center were also on hand to talk about career opportunities with the students.
Penny Burns, BCN President, stated “This is the first show we have produced and everyone who participated said it was great to be able to attend a live show after the past two years and there was something for all types of students in the beauty, barber and wellness fields. We’re planning two more shows in Philadelphia and Dallas later this year.”
A big thank you to Jazz and Marc Moreno of JZ Beauty and Joseph Rene, who kept the classes and demonstrations flowing with his great work as the Master of Ceremonies.
